McIlroy’s lead now four strokes
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Ian Poulter continues to head in the wrong direction after making a second straight bogey, this one at the par-3 14th hole.
That means he’s fallen to 6 under and trails Rory McIlroy by four strokes. The Northern Irishman has eight to finish while Poulter just has five.
HAHAHAHA…this will be the VERY FIRST TIME SINCE THE 2011 PGA that McIlroy has beaten Keegan Bradley in a major!!! That’s right…Keegs has beaten Rory in the LAST FOUR MAJORS!!!

If you count the Players Championship, Bridgestone Invitational, and Northern Trust Open as majors — which I’m sure we all do — then that number increases to 7 majors!!!!!!!!

Carlo…I like your train of thought!!! I actually consider the Players as a major so that’s 5 majors in a row!!! The other two are not majors but are BIG events nonetheless…so it’s true that Keegan plays better than “RORS” in the big events in general…enough said!!!

like i said yesterday Rory will win with at least 5 stokes i said 5-8. The fact when he is on he is the best player in the world and by a mile. That is today though and we have no idea how Tiger will dial in when he is totally confi with his new swing. Tiger is getting more and more rep and by this time after 1 year it will be fair to judge him. 2things i see can happen Tiger will have fine year 2013 with like 3-5 Wins or i can see him dominate again with 7-9 wins time will time.

Finally! It was about time that a few Euros made an appearance at a tour event! Considering how many tournaments the Americans have won this year, all I can say is “ABOUT TIME!. Gags sure got the biggest break when the wind died down and he was able to play 27 holes in 5 mph wind. Unfortunately, it’s not how the course should be played, but Gags got the same break at Congressional with the rains there as well. Hey, better to be lucky than good, right?

I was right. Rory won going away. Tiger doesn’t stand a chance anymore. He doesn’t have the mental toughness to hold it together in a major anymore. He is a mental midget and it shows. Tiger has no explosive ability. If he shoots better than 69 it is a miracle. His only hope is that a course plays very tough and he can get the lucky draw on the weather.
Either way, well done Rory. You are now ahead of Tiger’s pace. Tiger lovers love to talk about pace when talking about him chasing down Jack. They should have no problem with Rory taking care of Tiger.
Tiger, it is time for you to retire so you quit humiliating yourself on major weekends.
ofcourse i have no idea Tiger will win 7-9 times next year. But if you look back at his swing changes it has always take him some time get it going. This year he has had 1-1-1-2-3 finish so far and still fedex cup left. Its not a real Tiger powerful year but its a fine year. So if history continues next year he will be ready so 2013-2014-2015 i would not bet against him win 1-2 major each year and 7-9 total wins. But as i said iam just predicting here we cant know ofcourse what will happen. What i really hope is rory will continue get even better and push Tiger more i would love a real insne battle next few years from those 2.

Well said King. Tiger has the game to win majors again but I believe as long as he plays against Jack the pressure to close will just increase as he ages. He needs to focus on the field in front of him instead of trying to win 5 more every time he tees it up in a major. Again, all credit to Rory for a stunning weekend of golf.

Fact is Rory is the only player since Tiger came who wins Majors like Tiger does. Its early to say this but imo it is a chance that Tiger and Jack have something to think about!!. His Usa open win and now Pga championship is just incredible domination. Tiger is not finished because special sportsmen are never finished, even when people write them of. See Federer, Phelps, Bolt etc.
But he needs more practice with the swing change and maybe a psychologist. But he’ll win another major.
He needs more practice when he chokes. He doesn’t say a word about his swing or it being a process when hes playing well. He has more excuses than Obama. Tiger is done. Finished. He had 1 top 10 in a major this year. He is nowhere close to competing for a Major title.
